Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Mental Health & Addiction Nurse. This full-time position is based at the Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre and requires travel to surrounding First Nations communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families
  • Deliver direct psychosocial care, counseling, and group work, as well as system navigation and advocacy
  • Develop and maintain services to improve the health and social well-being of identified populations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare providers to achieve optimal client outcomes
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant
  • Two years' recent related Mental Health & Addiction experience in clinical areas, services, and programs, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Current valid B.C. driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Travel is a requirement of this position; flexibility in relation to work schedules and locations may be required
