As a Registered Practical Nurse with RT Medical, you will play a vital part in providing patient-centered care to individuals in need. This role involves traveling within your region to patients' homes, delivering high-quality services in various settings.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while enjoying a flexible schedule with full- and part-time options.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed in consultation with the patient and healthcare team.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, protecting and promoting their rights.
  • Travel to patients' homes within your designated region.
  • Provide services in diverse settings, including home, clinic, retirement home, or school.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma from a recognized RPN program or equivalent.
  • Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Experience as a visiting nurse, registered nurse, or community nurse is considered an asset.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Updated immunization records, including a recent tuberculosis test.
  • Clear criminal background checks and Vulnerable Sector checks are required upon hire.
