Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Zennoodlehouse&sizzler.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating staff preparing and portioning food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimating ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.

This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to supervise 5-10 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate staff in food preparation and service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customer complaints
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in restaurant management
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client focus and team player
  • Dependability and initiative
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.

A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year is on offer, depending on experience.
