About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at TJX Canada. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for conducting financial and business analysis on assigned projects and initiatives, building customized reporting and data models to support business decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial and business analysis on assigned projects and initiatives, identifying key trends and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business planning and decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and integrity of financial data and processes.
  • Partner with the Business Planning and Analysis team to identify new areas of potential business analysis and develop strategies to address them.
  • Conduct financial analysis on business strategies and tactics, providing recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in analytics and big data, with a strong background in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in VBA, SQL, Oracle, Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or TM1.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a detail-oriented, multi-project environment.
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
