About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Novalex Inc. as a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related financial matters.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
