Job Description for Cook at Jon Smith Subs

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Jon Smith Subs. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including sandwiches, salads, and soups
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet customer demands
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
Working Conditions:

The Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning products. The ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects is required.
