Key Responsibilities:- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs, as well as prepare and process dental impressions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel valued and respected throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Current registration as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Nova Scotia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment, as well as experience with digital charting and radiography systems.
