As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
* Repair cracks and holes
* Mix paint to desired color and texture
* Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
* Estimate costs and materials

Requirements:

* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Ability to distinguish between colors
* Hand-eye coordination
* Physically demanding
* Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling

Working Conditions:

* Outdoors
* Confined spaces

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

* Airless spray equipment
* Brush painting
* Conventional spray painting
* Electrostatic applications equipment
* Multi-ratio pump spraying

* Moisture gauges

Surface Preparation Experience:

* Drywall taping/patching

Coating/Application Specialization:

Wood Finishing Specialization:

* Graining
* Marbleizing
* Staining
* Glazing

Wall Covering Specialization:

* Wallpaper
* Vinyl
* Fabrics/upholstery
* Wood veneers
* Foils
* Photographic murals

Security and Safety:

* Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
