About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert with a passion for international cuisine to join our team at All Indian Grocery Store/Takeout Limited.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our restaurant. As a Culinary Expert, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including those that cater to customers with dietary restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  2. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  3. Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization
  4. Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  5. Order supplies and equipment as needed
  6. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operation of the kitchen
  7. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  8. Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  9. Recruit and hire staff to join our team
  10. Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service and high-quality food

Requirements:

  1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  2. 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
