Cook, Ethnic Foods Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook, Ethnic Foods to join our team at All Indian Grocery Store/Takeout Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to meet the demands of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and recruit and hire staff as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.

- Training: Awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for diverse groups, and diversity and cross-cultural training.
