About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driller to join our team as an Open Pit Production Driller in Sudbury, ON.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of the drill and will contribute to a tight-knit team and a sense of family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate surface drilling equipment for mining, quarrying, and road construction projects
  • Safely and efficiently execute drilling operations according to project specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements
  • Experience with D65 drills is considered an asset
  • Skilled in production drilling with the ability to drill at the proper azimuth, dip and depth
  • 2-5 years of experience of drilling in open pits, quarries, and/or road construction
  • Ability to read and interpret drill plans and sections
  • Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality, safety and the well-being of others
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
