Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Fraserway RV. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all types of RVs, maintaining clear communication with the Service Manager and Service Writers, and inputting clear and concise notes in work orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose RVs requiring repair and maintenance
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on RVs, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
  • Work with customers to discuss diagnoses, potential repairs, and completed work
  • Meet with customers to discuss repairs and provide estimates
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Service Writers to ensure repairs are approved prior to beginning work
Qualifications:
  • Red Seal certification, preferred
  • RV or automotive maintenance experience is an asset
  • RV & Trailer repairs experience an asset
  • Experience with plumbing, carpentry, or electrical (automotive or industrial)
  • Experience with vehicle hitch and wiring
  • General house renovation skills
  • Good attitude
  • Ability to work Saturdays in the busy season
