Job Summary:

Eclipse Stores Inc. is a leading women's clothing retailer with a strong presence in Canada. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager in our retail store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including customer service, visual merchandising, inventory control, and staff development.
  • Participate in training programs to develop management skills and learn the role of Store Manager.
  • Lead a sales-driven team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising displays to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail management experience, preferably in a fashion retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales-driven team.
  • Excellent customer service and rapport-building skills, with a focus on providing a positive shopping experience.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Hands-on leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Merchandising experience, with a strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and practices.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field.
