Dean of Agriculture and Environment Leadership Opportunity

Assiniboine Community College is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Dean of the Russ Edwards School of Agriculture and Environment. As a senior academic administrator, you will be responsible for the leadership and administration of all aspects of the School's operations, including budget and fund development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the School, aligning with the College's mission and vision.
- Develop and implement academic programs and initiatives that promote excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.
- Foster a culture of collegiality and collaboration among faculty, staff, and students, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, community organizations, and government agencies to advance the School's reputation and impact.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial sustainability.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-quality faculty and staff, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues, applying this knowledge to inform strategic decision-making.
- Earned Doctorate or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Qualifications commensurate with an appointment at the rank of Professor.
- Proven track record of leadership and administration in a higher education setting.
- Strong understanding of academic programs, curriculum development, and accreditation processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
