Assiniboine Community College is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Dean of the Russ Edwards School of Agriculture and Environment. As a senior academic administrator, you will be responsible for the leadership and administration of all aspects of the School's operations, including budget and fund development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the School, aligning with the College's mission and vision.
- Develop and implement plans to enhance the School's academic programs, research initiatives, and community engagement.
- Foster a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship, and promote a collaborative and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Develop and manage budgets, and secure funding for the School's programs and initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An earned Doctorate or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Qualifications commensurate with an appointment at the rank of Professor.
- A proven track record of leadership and administration in a higher education setting.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, and managing budgets and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
