About the Role
  • Develop and implement demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasts and minimize inventory risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with sales, product, and channel plans.
  • Monitor shipment forecasts and identify potential risks to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze demand patterns and adjust forecasts to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
  • Presentation of demand forecasts and risk analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop a team of demand planners to foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Requirements
  1. Post-Secondary degree in Business or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in the consumer goods or manufacturing sector.
  3. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand planning software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PowerBI).
  4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
