Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at IT Connex. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed data processing systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data processing systems using Python, Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality code and adhere to coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data processing and large-scale systems.
  • Strong experience with Python, Kafka, Spark, SQL, Hive, Impala, Hadoop, Splunk, Autosys, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, including Snow, Build (TeamCity, Jenkins), and UDeploy.
  • Good knowledge of capital markets and data analysis.
  • Experience with Linux-based infrastructures and cloud platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Test-driven development skills, including unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
