Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Eat-In Foods Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of our production processes.
- Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Organize warehouse and work areas to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Perform general office duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure timely and efficient production runs.
- Compile worksheets and specifications of orders, and consult with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
- Estimate the type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction, and other projects.
- Monitor production progress, and prepare and maintain progress and other reports.
- Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure employees are meeting expectations.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and follow up on issues with work orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
- MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with inventory management and supply chain logistics.
- Knowledge of production processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues.
