At Spexi Geospatial Inc., we're revolutionizing the way organizations access and utilize high-resolution geospatial imagery. Our innovative Fly-to-Earn platform, the Spexi Network, empowers drone pilots to earn rewards for collecting aerial data, while providing businesses with quick and easy access to valuable imagery and derivative data.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to contribute to our data customer application. As a key member of our high-caliber team, you'll design and develop a scalable, sustainable, and secure geospatial data marketplace platform using TypeScript, HTML, and modern frameworks like React and Tailwind.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative interfaces and related systems that delight users with exceptional experiences.
  • Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services optimized for global-scale geospatial data and imagery.
  • Take ownership of our tech stack, shaping our frontend architecture and maintaining high-quality, well-documented code.
  • Provide technical leadership, constructive feedback, and mentorship to other software engineers.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based infrastructure environments, performance optimization techniques, and modern build tools and workflow automation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a history of creating and supporting large-scale production systems.
  • Expert proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and modern frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructure environments, performance optimization techniques, and modern build tools and workflow automation.
  • Strong communication skills, familiarity with professional software development processes, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, agile environment.
  • Experience with geospatial data, mapping, and image analysis, as well as blockchain architectures and smart contracts.
  • Solid understanding of 3D mathematics and contributions to open-source projects or personal repositories.
