Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at YM Inc. (Sales). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that customers can find what they need.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a retail sales environment, with a focus on supervision and management.
  • Proven ability to supervise and motivate staff, and to resolve conflicts and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.
