We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at 10 ACRES BISTRO + BAR. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating exquisite pastries and desserts that exceed our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for our cooking staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Train and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Prepare and cook meals and specialty foods to meet our customers' demands.
- Source and requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain our high standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling to ensure food safety and quality.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week.
