The Role

We are seeking an Industrial Binding Specialist to join our Bindery team at our WestRock Mississauga Folding facility. As a key member of our afternoon shift team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our binding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-reference completed jobs and share updated copy with the Cutter team on a daily basis.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service department to resolve any order issues.
  • Audit ready-to-go orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare orders with shipment dates and sales order numbers, and label boxes for the Shipping department.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to close out outstanding Work in Progress (WIP).
  • Perform all related duties as assigned.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk 100% of the shift on a concrete floor and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Excellent reading and interpretation skills, with the ability to understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Good attendance record.

Working Conditions

This role requires flexibility and adaptability, with occasional overtime required during busy periods. The shift schedule includes Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Friday: 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and regular breaks throughout the day.

Compensation and Benefits

As an Industrial Binding Specialist at WestRock, you can expect a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also enjoy the following benefits:
