We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Technician II to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
Responsibilities- Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
- Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems
- Prepare and execute Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client, and future service needs
- Assist in system design and layout
- Provide customer training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries
- Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities
- Perform administrative duties, including project updates and documentation
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
- Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
- Vendor certification in low voltage systems is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license with clean abstract
- Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently
- Able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
We offer a competitive hourly pay range of $27.00ph - $37.00ph DOE and a dynamic work environment that values innovation, technical knowledge, and customer satisfaction.
