About the Position:
We're seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our Low Voltage team in Victoria. This role requires the employee to be a current member or willing to become a member of the IBEW 230.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on customer satisfaction and achieve results with minimal supervision.
- Lead a technical team and interpret plans and design documents.
- Install and program systems, including Access Control, CCTV, Mass Storage, Intrusion/Burglar Alarms, Networks, and Communication electronics.
- Work after hours and be on call, with a valid driver's license and eligible for security clearance up to secret level.
Experience and Skills:
- Security TQ and Security License.
- Active IBEW 230 Membership or willingness to become a member.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of Lenel, Axis, Genetec, DSC, Avigilon, and Kantech.
- Healthcare system experience is an asset.
