About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator Assistant to join our team at NSG Interior Contractors Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters and decorators with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and materials are in good working condition.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine work requirements and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as needed.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week and adapt to changing work schedules.
  • Fluency in English is required for effective communication with colleagues and clients.
