Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure is essential. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees: As a Food Service Supervisor at Subway, you will have the opportunity to support newcomers and refugees by assisting with their immediate settlement needs, recruiting them for employment, and supporting them with foreign credential recognition.
