Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Hot Shot Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll be responsible for delivering batteries to dealers on a timely basis. You'll also maintain a well-stocked and organized warehouse, assist Route Managers, and perform various tasks to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver batteries to dealers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Load and unload batteries from trucks
  • Maintain accurate inventory using a handheld device
  • Restock batteries as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance on trucks, including charging, cleaning, and dating batteries
  • Accurately complete reports and claims

Requirements:

  • Valid Manitoba driver's license
  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple math
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
  • Forklift experience an asset

Work Environment:

Our warehouse environment can be physically demanding, with exposure to temperature extremes, dust, and battery acid. You'll be required to wear steel-toe shoes and protective gloves when handling batteries.
