Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Sure Shot Express. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive semi-trailer trucks to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including GPS and other navigation systems
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation and logistics
  • Meet all safety and regulatory requirements, including hours of service and weight limits

Requirements:

  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Valid passport and basic security clearance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads
