We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team as a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist.

This role is focused on supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes, including coordinating, consolidating, and evaluating cost centers, validating data input, executing data transfers, and reconciling results across systems and reports.

  • You will contribute to our team by participating in moderately complex budget and forecast projects, handling tasks within your area of responsibility, such as implementing new budgeting processes/procedures and developing new Hyperion and Oracle interfaces.
  • You will act as a technical specialist, continuously developing and updating technical skills and job knowledge through educational opportunities.
  • You will also provide input based on monthly financial budget analyses/reports, analyzing variances, and recommending improvements for Hyperion Planning and EPM Strategic Modelling systems.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering budget and forecast reports by coordinating, consolidating, and evaluating cost centers.
  • Participating in moderately complex budget and forecast projects, handling tasks within your area of responsibility.
  • Acting as a technical specialist, continuously developing and updating technical skills and job knowledge through educational opportunities.
  • Providing input based on monthly financial budget analyses/reports, analyzing variances.
  • Recommending improvements for Hyperion Planning and EPM Strategic Modelling systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Post-Secondary Degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Professional Accounting Designation would be considered an asset.
  • 2-5 years of related experience and education.
  • Advanced competencies with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Hyperion Planning, EPM Planning or other comparable financial planning systems is considered an asset.
