CORA Food Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at CORA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food services department, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have enough stock on hand to meet demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff alike.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food services management role is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
