Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Materials Coordinator to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving material-related issues, collaborating with internal and external customers, and ensuring effective material support and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage material supply requirements and monitor material demands or requirements impacting aircraft schedules
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers on material requirements
  • Ensure effective material support and delivery through collaboration with different material branches
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure chemical supply to hangars
  • Lead and coordinate stock taking across the hangars
  • Communicate major project activities and requirements with supporting Material teams

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in the aircraft industry
  • College Diploma in business-related studies or equivalent training and experience
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite and company ERP systems
  • Familiarity with Canadian Forces Supply System (CFSS/DRMIS) is an asset
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical and customer service skills
