Job Description

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, track, and manage project budget, project WBS, timelines, and scope.
  • Manage project resources, developing, motivating, coaching, and advising team members.
  • Partner closely with other members of functional teams to define business requirements.
  • Define test plans and ensure that products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing.
  • Facilitate the UAT process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
  • Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses; ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.
  • Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
  • Attend meetings regularly, informing stakeholders and meeting with the team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3-4+ years of proven IT Project Management experience using Agile methodologies.
  • 1-2 years' + experience as a Program Manager – managing multiple IT initiatives.
  • 1+ years' experience with project management tools and software: Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing UAT test plans.
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM implementation and improvement.
  • CSM/Agile Certifications an asset.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, technical field preferred.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) nice to have.
  • CSM/Agile Certifications nice to have.

Selection Process:

  • 1 round – MS Teams Video Interview – 45 minutes – with Hiring Manager.
