Job Summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at our production facility in Ashcroft, BC. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Use precision measuring and testing instruments to inspect and measure parts and equipment.
  • Adjust and fabricate repair parts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

Requirements

  • Valid British Columbia Industrial Mechanic License.
  • Experience with mechanical devices, pneumatic controls, and welding/cutting.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
