Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at IKO Industries Ltd. in Ashcroft, BC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid British Columbia Industrial Mechanic License
  • Experience with mechanical devices, pneumatic controls, and welding/cutting
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and work with other trades and operators
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis

Working Conditions:
