Exciting Opportunity for Engineering Students

Canadian Natural Resources Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Student to join our Oil Sands Estimating team as a Project Controls Engineering Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in cost estimation, database development, and benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the support of asset life cycle cost data management
  • Develop knowledge of cost estimation, database, and benchmarking development
  • Work with cost data of Downstream and Upstream Oil Sand Major Facilities
  • Perform data analysis and normalization
  • Develop key metrics for use in conceptual estimating and benchmarking
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program in Engineering or within one year of graduation
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of the basics of statistics and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of cost data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
