Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Wright Construction Services Inc. This is an entry-level position that requires no degree, certificate, or diploma. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.

Work Site Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. They will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and use tools as necessary.

Certifications and Licenses

The ideal candidate will hold certifications in Aerial Lift and Aerial Work Platform, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). They will also have completed a Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.

Construction Specialization

This position involves working in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction. The candidate will be required to own transportation and have a valid driver's license.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will work 40 to 50 hours per week in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks. They will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy objects.

Screening Questions

The ideal candidate will be legally able to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number. They will also be required to answer a series of screening questions to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
