Project Manager for Large-Scale Construction in Toronto

Are you an experienced construction professional looking to lead innovative projects in a dynamic environment?
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager who will oversee the execution of large ICI projects, managing a highly integrated team and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
Job Responsibilities- Foster a culture of safety and well-being in daily operations, prioritizing the health and safety of all team members.
- Provide valuable input during design, craft comprehensive project execution plans, and resolve technical challenges on-site in the most cost-efficient manner.
- Oversee all aspects of on-site construction operations, including safety, client interface, procurement, quality, and execution.
- Manage change and scope creep, maintaining control and balance of costs, schedules, and personnel.
- Cultivate a collaborative and integrity-driven environment, promoting open communication with clients and esteemed subcontractors.

The Ideal Candidate- A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a strong understanding of pressure piping code requirements and TSSA standards.
- A proven track record of successfully executing complex projects, building trust and respect among stakeholders.
- Extensive expertise in managing on-site construction of multidisciplinary designs, with advanced knowledge of construction sequencing techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English, coupled with effective listening and negotiation abilities.
- Determinate and resilient, with adaptability in overcoming challenges and maintaining focus under pressure.
Preference will be given to candidates with a mechanical engineering degree and strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical processes, piping, underground electrical conduits, steam, etc.
