Pizza Pizza Food Service Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and manage kitchen staff
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and productive team dynamic
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports, providing valuable insights to management
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Supervise and check assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards
- Establish work schedules, balancing staff needs with business demands
