Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and professional service to Scotia iTRADE clients through email and click-to-chat communication channels. The Customer Service Representative will ensure that email and click-to-chat quality standards are met while demonstrating a high level of client focus at all times.

Main Responsibilities
  • Resolve client inquiries efficiently and effectively by responding independently to email and chat inquiries, taking action to fully address inquiries, and processing client requests in a timely manner.
  • Document and control all required follow-up or escalation accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate actively in queue maintenance through efficient call response times and prioritization of workload.
  • Satisfy client needs through the iCARE model and acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of policies, processes, product & services.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education in Commerce, Business or Financial Planning.
  • Broad investment product knowledge in Equities, Fixed Income & Mutual Fund Securities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize risk to the firm.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals, and work independently.
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and accurately.
