Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at The Prairie Creek Inn. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, and wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and walk.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and team player.
