Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at The Prairie Creek Inn. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closet.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, handle and report lost and found items, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Launder clothing and household linens, wash windows, walls and ceilings, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and team player.
