About the Position
Shannex Incorporated is seeking a compassionate and professional Music Therapist to join our team at Arborstone Enhanced Care in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Music Therapy Programs that meet the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs of residents.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess the abilities and needs of residents and establish goals and objectives to meet identified needs.
- Prepare rooms and equipment for music therapy programs, and maintain proper care and level of supplies and equipment.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate client records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through in-services, workshops, conferences, and other educational sessions.
