Executive Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead our financial planning and analysis team. This role will be responsible for developing and directing the company's analytical, financial plans and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience in leading high-performing teams.
**Responsibilities:**
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are enforced.
• Oversee the Senior Accountant and Manufacturing Sr. Analyst to ensure accurate financial reporting results for Manufacturing and Systems Engineering.
• Manage working capital and cash flow, including weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting.
• Coordinate with banks to conduct annual reviews of borrowing facilities and investment accounts.
• Review all incoming purchase orders to ensure compliance with key terms and conditions prior to purchase order acceptance.
• Co-ordinate annual insurance renewal to ensure the company has appropriate coverage for commercial, liability, property, and directors and officers insurance.
• Oversee four direct reports and create a collaborative work environment for the finance team.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of manufacturing cost model analysis and planning.
• Work cross-functionally with all departments in the company to provide financial results, budgets, and forecasting to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to the board, shareholders, banks, export agencies, and other stakeholders as required.
• Secure non-dilutive financing via grants and awards.
• Take the lead on any financial software upgrades (e.g., Accounting Software, Procurement Software).
