Overview

At KPMG Canada, you'll be part of a dynamic team of professionals who share a common goal: delivering exceptional tax services to clients across the globe. As a Specialist in our Enterprise Tax practice, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tax-related projects, from planning and compliance to research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of complex tax issues, including domestic and international investments.
  • Prepare and review corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.
  • Develop and present technical memos, instruction letters, and client reporting letters.
  • Design and implement income tax models.
  • Review and analyze tax provisions for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver exceptional results.
  • Support senior staff members in corporate tax initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Successful completion of the CFE (or willingness to write in 2024) and CPA designation.
  • Enrollment in the In-Depth tax course or willingness to enroll.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Keen interest in tax planning strategies and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent client service skills with a strong understanding of client needs.
