Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at YYC CANADA CONSTRUCTION LTD. as we work on various new projects across different locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials to construction sites
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades for safe site access
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to complete construction tasks
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt for smooth surfaces
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials and operate machinery or equipment used in construction to support site operations
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to maintain site safety
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer with YYC CANADA CONSTRUCTION LTD., you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors in various locations and may be exposed to dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a team environment
  • Cellular phone and gloves are required for this role
  • Experience is an asset, but not required
