Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at T & S Transportation Systems Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country. This is a permanent position with a 50-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintain the vehicle's condition.
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Experience with long-haul trucking and international routes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
