About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Kids Daycare Center. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare programs and ensuring the well-being and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development
    • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
    • Develop and implement activities that encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Supervision and Support
    • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children.
    • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Program Planning and Organization
    • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
    • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
    • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
