Job Title: Validation Officer

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Validation Officer to join our Dealer Finance Centre (DFC) team in Canada.

Job Summary:

The Validation Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan and lease documentation, while maintaining compliance with governing regulations and internal policies. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify loan and lease documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct thorough reviews of contract messages and supporting documents
  • Identify and escalate any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor or relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with dealerships and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
