About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal to lead our team at Milo Community School. As a Principal, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the school community, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for success in their future endeavors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the school community
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and the community
  • Ensure that the school is a safe and inclusive environment for all students
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum and instructional programs
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid Alberta Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) Certification
  • Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Exemplary teaching and administrative experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Commitment to establishing positive working relationships with staff, parents, and community partners
