About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Administrator to join our team at Milo Community School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the success of our school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a clear vision for transformational student learning, aligned with the school's mission and values.
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality instruction and support student achievement.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance student learning opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures, including those related to student safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid Alberta Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) Certification or eligibility for same.
  • Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
  • Exemplary teaching and administrative experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Commitment to establishing positive working relationships with staff, parents, and community partners.
  • Commitment to establishing partnerships and knowledge of indigenous cultures, traditions, and values.
  • Experience in multi-grade level classrooms.
